Not everyone is as excited about this time of year as this guy........

Please observe the Halloween rule of no decorations.
No knocking on the door.

There are a variety of different reasons why someone wouldn't want their door knocked.
As an example, Our little foster dog feels the need to bark a lot and loudly when the door knocks (obviously we are working on this) and then she needs slow introductions to new people. So, lots of trick or treaters would not go down to well. That means that unfortunately for the kids, this year we will not be putting our Halloween 'decs' up.

Also, some dogs and / or Human are simply scared or have conditions such as PTSD.
Not only do we need to keep this in mind on Oct 31st but also November 5th.
​Please be considerate if you are planning on having a home fireworks display. It would be kind to give your neighbours the heads up about your plans and the date, so they can put a plan in place for themselves.
​If you are having a bonfire night event remember the neighbours in the street behind not just the ones next door.​

All that being said... ​Have a great time with Family and friend over the next few weeks.
