Please observe the Halloween rule of no decorations. No knocking on the door. There are a variety of different reasons why someone wouldn't want their door knocked. As an example, Our little foster dog feels the need to bark a lot and loudly when the door knocks (obviously we are working on this) and then she needs slow introductions to new people. So, lots of trick or treaters would not go down to well. That means that unfortunately for the kids, this year we will not be putting our Halloween 'decs' up.
All that being said... Have a great time with Family and friend over the next few weeks.

When your dog groomer tells you it's important to check your dog's feet after a walk. This is what we are talking about....... The poor pup had grass seeds in each and every toe and will now need a trip to the vets.
Please just pop in to your local dog groomers where we can keep those Paramount paws grass seed free. This little letter here made me think of my very first set of "Paramount Paws" as an adult. Keira Bell.
I got her when I was 20 years old and she was with me when I first worked in kennels, when I trained as a groomer all those years ago, through house-move after house-move and she was still with me by my side through both of my children. She was my best friend and I miss her dearly. This weather is beautiful but just remember to keep those Paramount paws safe, as our dogs don’t fare so well in the heat and we are in for some soaring temperatures over the coming weeks. ☀️ Also one more tip for keeping those Paramount paws safe in the heat is if you can not
hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds then it's too hot for your dogs to walk on. They may well end up with very burnt pads!!! |
